Character Profile: Terry Bogard
Terry Bogard doesn't remember how he became an orphan the first time, nor does he remember if Andy is even his real brother, but since their first days on the streets, he's taken care of himself and Andy like any good big brother would. It was tough, but Terry was tougher, yet he never let life get him down. His bright disposition finally paid off when he and his brother were taken in by Jeff Bogard, a martial artist with a soft spot for orphans. They were cared for very deeply by their new father, and grew under his watchful eye.
However, they almost returned to the streets one day, when their father was attacked and killed in combat by a former friend and longtime rival, Geese Howard. The boys tried to go to the police, but Tung Fu Rue, the martial artist who taught both Geese and Jeff, stopped them, knowing that the police, and perhaps the entire city of Southtown, were in Geese's hands. He took the boys away to live with him, hoping to focus their pain into skill, and began putting them through rigorous training.
Though having been struck by a great tragedy, Terry didn't stay down for long. He began training with vigor, and is planning on applying his determination to school, having recently begun at Clairbourn. Between school and training, he hopes to be ready, one day, to give back to Geese for taking his father from him.
